Five of Taiwan's allies speak at UN convention

Five of Taiwan's allies will speak on Tuesday, the first day of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The five nations are Honduras, Nicaragua, Malawi, Paraguay and Panama.

The convention marks the largest meeting ever of world leaders on climate change. The content of the speeches will be a gauge of how the five allies see Taiwan. Much weight will be put on the United States' attitude as well.

The convention will take place until October 3rd.
