Taiwan students dominate perfect scores at AMC

Twenty-six Taiwanese students got a perfect score at this year's American Mathematics Competition (AMC) for 9th and 10 graders. That's a remarkable achievement for Taiwan since that means more than half of those who received a perfect score are from Taiwan.

The competition was organized by the Mathematical Association of America.

A Taiwanese educator said Taiwanese students have shown tremendous improvement on the test over the past eight years.
