Far Eastern Airlines stops flying

The Taiwanese Far Eastern Airlines announced Monday that it is stopping operations because it cannot even afford its fuel costs. That leaves 2,044 of its passengers still overseas with cancelled flights. With the help of Taiwans state-run petroleum company, the airline will take passengers back from the Philippines. But there are still five other overseas flights that need to be arranged. The airlines said it could still fly some domestic flights and will also arrange for their passengers to take other domestic airlines as well.
