Two more deaths as H1N1 continues to spread

Two more have died from H1N1 here in Taiwan, bringing the total number of deaths to 14. The Central Epidemic Control Center (CECC) confirmed Monday that an 8 year old girl and a 23 year old pregnant woman, died after complications from H1N1. The number of those hospitalized by H1N1 has been rising steadily. The CECC announced another seven hospitalized on Monday, taking the total to 222.

The number of those affected by H1N1 related school closures has also spiked. More than 10,000 students are estimated to be affected thus far.
