Charlie is a graduate in Modern Chinese Studies from Durham University in the UK. He came to Taiwan in 2005 on a scholarship to study for a year at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. He was so impressed by Taiwan’s 24-hour convenience stores and friendly post office staff that he decided to stay.
Charlie describes himself as typically British – he likes cricket and ales and his Chinese name means “tea”. He misses pork pies but otherwise loves everything about Taiwan.
Charlie is handsome and witty and denies that he wrote this bio himself. |
