Radio Taiwan International held three Listeners' Club Meetings in India in February of 2008. The first meeting was held in Chennai on February 23 and the second and third events were held in Kolkata and New Delhi on February 24 and March 1st respectively.

RTI's former Chairman Cheng Yu, European Language Section chief Carlson Wang, and RTI staff Linyi Hsu participated in the meetings and exchanged opinions with listeners from the three areas. This has been the second time that RTI held meetings with Indian listeners since 2006.
