Taiwanese athletes have picked up two gold medals in cycling at the East Asian Games currently underway in China's Tianjin.
On Sunday Taiwan's Feng Chun-kai took the gold medal at the men's road race while Huang Ting-yin won the title at the women's event. Another Taiwanese athlete, Hsiao Mei-yu, took the bronze medal at the women's road race.
This year's East Asia Games features more than 2,400 athletes from China, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Mongolia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Guam, competing in 24 different sports.
So far, Taiwan has taken 47 medals in the games, including nine golds, putting it at the fourth place in the medal ranking.
The Tianjin East Asian Games, which opened Oct. 6, will run through Oct. 15.
